Yes I am a whole week late, but better late than never right? I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Our's was good- and I am happy it's over!
In my mind, I have so much energy and there are so many things I would like to do/complete, but my body just won't let me do it! Even though this pregnancy has not landed me in the hospital like the last one, it is still kicking my behind. I have been having difficulty breathing, which keeps me from doing many of the things I would like to be doing.
Anyways, ths is what I have been up to:
1. Makeup tutorials!!!
Yesterday I sat down to do a makeup tutorial (GASP!!!) I only got about 3 minutes into it and then I was interrupted... So the bad part is: that video will not be used, but the good part is: I know the 2 looks I will be doing, and I am aiming to get it done THIS WEEK.
2. Finishing projects I started.
***Remember that little old felt alphabet project I blogged about in the spring of last year? Well I finally finished it! YESTERDAY. All I had left were the letters Q - Z but I just couldn't sit down and finish it. Here is a picture of the finished product:
I love the way it turned out, and I am now thinking about doing some lowercase letters so we can spell some words...we'll see.
*** I am addicted to Pinterest and Etsy, I get so many great ideas there (like the felt alphabet). well I ran across This cute little football Onesie and said "I can make that for 1/3 of the price" well I did, and here is how it turned out:
I did mine a little differently. I decided to take some felt and cut it to look like the stitching on a football, and then hand stitch the felt on with some floss. Well when I finished and held it up to look at it, the felt stitching on the front was TOTALLY crooked. Hubby said "just leave it" but I CAN'T - it is annoying me to NO END. So I have to take it apart, and stitch it back on again.
3. Mentally preparing myself for the baby.
I have been in total denial that in two months there will be another member of our family. I have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for this little boy (except for the football Onesie that now needs to be taken apart) so last night I sat down and reluctantly put together a baby registry. I feel a little better now.
4.LOC UPDATE!
I got my hair dyed for the new year and I have been meaning to show you all... so here goes:
The first 2 photos were taken the day I got it done - BEFORE I bleached my brows. The last picture was taken yesterday and you can see (or at least I think) my face looks a little softer with my eyebrows lightened. I have NO CLUE what the name of the colors are that are in my hair (there are about 4) I got it done at a salon because I didn't have the energy to do it myself.
I hope to actually do a hair video in the next couple of days... I need to think of a style...

Happy Birthday Ava B.
So my youngin' turned 2 years old yesterday... I can't believe it has been 2 years already!!! Last year we had a big party for her 1st birthday, this year, it was just family and a neighbor/friend of mine who came. We wanted it to be smaller this year but I was still tired out from the planning. I made her a shirt with the number 2 on it, and my friend had a skirt made for her... she looked so cute. Ava is ALL ABOUT Dora, so that was this year's theme. I knew I wanted her outfit to represent Dora colors, but I didn't want any logos....this is why I decided on a handmade outfit. Plus I always feel like it is more special that way =)
This is the shirt I made, I was more than pleased with the way it turned out! I got the directions on how to make it from This site. The directions were very easy to follow, and it didn't take too long... but I won't be making these every day. Although I am thinking about making one with her name...maybe.
Here is the entire outfit, not the best picture but we hope to get professional ones done this week.
Her daddy and I were exhausted, but she had the best day ever, so it was totally worth it... her smile made me happy I took the time and effort even though she had no idea what all the fuss was about....

Life gets in the way....
It has been over 2 months since my last post... I hate when life gets in the way of my blogging/ videos/ projects/ work....etc.
For those of you who were around when I was making videos, you all remember me dropping off the face of the earth when I was pregnant with Ava, well, it has happened again. Since becoming pregnant with #2 in July I have been sick pretty much every day. I am one of those girls who gets ALL the symptoms that come along with pregnancy. But I am happy to say I am in my second trimester, and I have been doing better, so maybe I will be able to play catch up.
