Happy New Year!

Yes I am a whole week late, but better late than never right? I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Our's was good- and I am happy it's over!

In my mind, I have so much energy and there are so many things I would like to do/complete, but my body just won't let me do it! Even though this pregnancy has not landed me in the hospital like the last one, it is still kicking my behind. I have been having difficulty breathing, which keeps me from doing many of the things I would like to be doing.

Anyways, ths is what I have been up to:

1. Makeup tutorials!!!
Yesterday I sat down to do a makeup tutorial (GASP!!!) I only got about 3 minutes into it and then I was interrupted... So the bad part is: that video will not be used, but the good part is: I know the 2 looks I will be doing, and I am aiming to get it done THIS WEEK.

2. Finishing projects I started.

***Remember that little old felt alphabet project I blogged about in the spring of last year? Well I finally finished it! YESTERDAY. All I had left were the letters Q - Z but I just couldn't sit down and finish it. Here is a picture of the finished product:

I love the way it turned out, and I am now thinking about doing some lowercase letters so we can spell some words...we'll see.

*** I am addicted to Pinterest and Etsy, I get so many great ideas there (like the felt alphabet). well I ran across This cute little football Onesie and said "I can make that for 1/3 of the price" well I did, and here is how it turned out:

I did mine a little differently. I decided to take some felt and cut it to look like the stitching on a football, and then hand stitch the felt on with some floss.  Well when I finished and held it up to look at it, the felt stitching on the front was TOTALLY crooked. Hubby said "just leave it" but I CAN'T - it is annoying me to NO END. So I have to take it apart, and stitch it back on again.

3. Mentally preparing myself for the baby.

I have been in total denial that in two months there will be another member of our family. I have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for this little boy (except for the football Onesie that now needs to be taken apart) so last night I sat down and reluctantly put together a baby registry. I feel a little better now.

4.LOC UPDATE!

I got my hair dyed for the new year and I have been meaning to show you all... so here goes:

The first 2 photos were taken the day I got it done - BEFORE I bleached my brows. The last picture was taken yesterday and you can see (or at least I think) my face looks a little softer with my eyebrows lightened.  I have NO CLUE what the name of the colors are that are in my hair (there are about 4) I got it done at a salon because I didn't have the energy to do it myself.
I hope to actually do a hair video in the next couple of days... I need to think of a style...

30 Day Blog Challenge Day 10 & 11

Day 10 - A photo of your favorite restaurant

Ok first of all, I LOVE to eat.  Probably more than anything.  There is nothing better to me than sitting down to enjoy a good meal.  Secondly, I LOVE to eat out.  I LOVE to try new restaurants/food.

With all that being said... I DON'T have a favorite restaurant. (gasp!)

When I lived in Philly I had a few places that I loved to eat... but I don't know if I ever felt so strongly as to call it my FAVORITE place to eat.

Since moving to Texas, I feel like there is nowhere for me to eat.  I know it's sad.
Texas (well San Antonio) is full of chain restaurants, and bunch of Mexican/Tex Mex restaurants.
So no, I definitely don't have a favorite place here.

I do, however, like quite a few things on the lunch menu at Nordstrom Bistro.

I will list a few of my old Philly favorites...

Alyan's Restaurant
(at 6th and South)

New Delhi Indian Restaurant
(4004 Chestnut Street)

Sunwishes Vegetarian Restaurant
(I don't think this restaurant is around any more it was on Walnut Street around 20th I think)

Day 11- What's in your makeup bag
