I had a request to do another video on Head Wraps, it had been hanging over me for over a month, and today, while my "mini me" was asleep, I was able to knock it out real quick.....

Happy Loc Anniversary!
This week marks the one year anniversary for my (and my husbands) locs. Time has flown by, and I can't believe I am going through this journey all over again. But I can't picture wearing my hair any other way. This time I am far less anal about how my hair looks. I don't care if the parts aren't perfect, I don't re-twist anywhere near as often as I did my first set. I don't care about the "unlocked" ends, and I prefer it to be a little on the "wild side" I started this set of locs the same way my first set was started - with coils, except this time my hair was completely natural. I wondered if this set would look different from the first set, but I can't really see too much difference, the size/thickness is about the same, and it seems that I have around the same number of locs as last time.
Maintenance
My maintenance is very minimal. I have gone back to using products from Oyin Handmade. I don't remember why I stopped, but I love their products. I spritz my hair everyday with Greg Juice, and if it looks like it needs a little extra conditioning, I add a little Whipped Pudding, or Coconut Oil. To re-twist: I have been using either pure Shea Butter, or Oyin's Burnt Sugar- Hair Pomade. To wash: I pretty much use whatever I have, but I like to use Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap (cut with water).
Styling:
I don't do as much styling as I did with my first set, mainly because with a little one I don't have the time. With my first set I would either use rollers or pin curl it so I could wear it curly. I would also do Bantu Knots or just coil it down - which I do find the time to do every now and then so I don't have to mess with it at all.
